Neerja Modi School Student Death Case: Why Relief Despite Serious Safety Lapses?

I write with deep anguish and concern regarding the death of a 9-year-old student at Neerja Modi School, Jaipur. Following this tragic incident, CBSE found serious deficiencies and withdrew the school's Senior Secondary affiliation. Yet, relief has now been granted while the deficiencies are yet to be fully cured.

This raises a disturbing question: Does the life of a child matter less than the convenience and interests of a powerful institution?

While the future of students must be protected, accountability for a child's death cannot be sidelined. If such serious violations can be overlooked after a tragedy, what message does it send to parents across the country?

I urge your party to raise this issue forcefully and ensure that responsibility is fixed, safety lapses are not ignored, and justice is not diluted. Every child's life is precious and deserves equal value.
