Simplification of Loan Systems and Protection of Youth from Financial Harassment
I wish to raise concern regarding the increasing complexity of loan systems and financial harassment faced by youth. Hidden charges, high interest rates, confusing terms, and aggressive recovery practices are causing serious mental and financial stress. Digital lending platforms have further increased this risk.
I request the Government to implement a transparent One Nation, One Finance system with uniform loan rules, stronger borrower protection, strict regulation of digital lenders, and nationwide financial literacy programs.
A fair financial system must empower youth, not trap them.
