The books don't help in making thinkers neither do teachers

The education system we have currently going on was designed in the prussia in the late 1700's to train factory workers to obey orders and do long boring tasks without any questions. Later bells were added to school to teach children to stop and switch tasks as soon as the master said. John D Rockfeller literally said that we don't want to make thinkers we want to make factory workers that will do perfectly the jobs their father's did imperfectly. This system came to India in 1835 under the British to churn out management workers because flying thousands from Britain was not feasible. This same system has still been going on and today we still see children and teachers who are just voice recordings and databases. CBSE introduced competency based questions and everyone lost their minds but no one realised that in the name of competency they just added a story and made the questions a bit more tangled and nothing else. How will the indian students develop critical thinking if the books want the opposite of that and the main board breadcrumbs us in the name of progress???. We learn everything bottom to top, first memorising endless pages and then seeing what it leads up to instead of learning from top to bottom, seeing the whole thing like the human body first and then diving deep into the functions. I wish that the entire curriculum is changed and we develop high quality children that can think and navigate through actual problems and speak properly.
