The collapse of a four-storey building in Delhi’s Karawal Nagar on 3rd june 2026,Wednesday has reportedly devastated the lives of several lower middle-class families, turning a place of happiness and security into loss and uncertainty. Allegedly linked to nearby bulldozer and drain construction activity, the incident has also affected the owner’s sole source of livelihood. Reports suggest the house, purchased in 2020 on a 15-year loan, now leaves the family facing severe financial hardship and possible debt.
