I see a lot of groundwater depletion in many places across India and none of the politicians are worried about the future of India!

Actually we should not touch ground water at all coz it should serve as a emergency for our country during desperate times but we have polluted all the surface water resources and many states are heavily dependent on groundwater and its not easily replenishable easily and we are running out of ground water too which leaves us to one of the most water stressful regions of the world!
