Unlawful arrests of workers and the helpless crowd

In the noida crackdown that happened recently for the protest about wages and working conditions, many workers were arrested and jailed by the police and their families were not even informed, the already poor people had to pay a fortune for the bails of their loved ones that were either simply demanding minimum wages or were picked up because they were easy targets.. I'll leave the specifications for you guys to look into but they cannot afford bail deposits of 40k! Look, I am not media and I do not claim anything, you can read up articles online that cover this. The point I'm making however is that this has become a recurring theme in police actions, they arrest protestants and call them terrorists. Jail the people that do not have resources to fight back to instill fear.. The courts dismiss the death punishment of rapists of literal toddlers and babies as a 'not so rare' crime. Do these people have no conscience at all? The police and the courts are not for protecting those in power.
