“Truth Behind Amma J. Jayalalithaa’s Suspicious Death Has Still Not Come Out – Central and State Governments Must Take Immediate Action” Chennai | 01-06-2026 Mr. K. Jagadishwara Reddy, Founder President of Tamil Nadu Telugu Yuva Sakthi, has submitted a detailed memorandum seeking immediate action regarding the suspicious death of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Amma J. Jayalalithaa. The memorandum has been submitted to: The Hon’ble President of India The Hon’ble Prime Minister of India The Hon’ble Union Home Minister The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu National Human Rights Commission – New Delhi In the memorandum, Mr. K. Jagadishwara Reddy urged both the Government of India and the Government of Tamil Nadu to take immediate action on the recommendations made in the final report of the Justice Arumughaswamy Commission of Inquiry, or alternatively order a full and independent CBI or NIA investigation. He has also specifically appealed to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu to ensure a detailed investigation into the Kodanadu Estate murders and connected incidents, and to conduct a transparent enquiry into all alleged benami properties associated with Amma J. Jayalalithaa, so that the complete truth is brought before the people. Mr. Jagadishwara Reddy recalled that immediately after Amma Jayalalithaa’s demise in December 2016, he had written to the Ministry of Home Affairs seeking a CBI investigation. The Government of India officially acknowledged his petition and forwarded it to the concerned departments. He also reminded that in the 2021 Tamil Nadu Assembly election manifesto, the DMK party had publicly assured the people of Tamil Nadu that a deep enquiry would be conducted into the circumstances surrounding Amma Jayalalithaa’s death and that the truth would be revealed. However, despite: constitution of the Justice Arumughaswamy Commission, submission of its final report, important recommendations made by the Commission, and repeated appeals made by the public, no complete legal action has been initiated so far, which continues to raise serious doubts among the people of Tamil Nadu. Speaking on the issue, Mr. K. Jagadishwara Reddy said: “Even today, the people of Tamil Nadu continue to have many unanswered questions regarding Amma Jayalalithaa’s death. This is not merely a political issue. It is a matter connected to justice, democracy and public trust.” He further stated: “The Arumughaswamy Commission has submitted its findings. The DMK also gave a clear promise in its 2021 election manifesto. భాషా విధానంపై రాజకీయ గందరగోళంతో తెలుగు పిల్లలు తీవ్ర ఇబ్బందులు పడుతున్నారు

భాషా విధానంపై తమిళనాడులో రాజకీయ నాయకులు పరస్పర విరుద్ధ ప్రకటనలు చేస్తుండటంతో తెలుగు విద్యార్థులు తీవ్ర ఇబ్బందులు ఎదుర్కొంటున్నారు. ఈ పరిస్థితి విద్యార్థుల భవిష్యత్తును గందరగోళంలోకి నెడుతోంది.

గతంలో తమిళనాడు ముఖ్యమంత్రి గాఉన్న శ్రీ ఎం.కె. స్టాలిన్ కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ప్రతిపాదించిన మూడు భాషల విధానాన్ని తీవ్రంగా వ్యతిరేకించారు. ఇది హిందీని హిందీ కాని రాష్ట్రాలపై పరోక్షంగా రుద్దే ప్రయత్నమని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు. తమిళనాడులో తమిళం, ఆంగ్లం మాత్రమే కొనసాగుతాయని, మూడు భాషల విధానాన్ని అనుమతించబోమని స్పష్టం చేశారు. భారతీయ జనతా పార్టీ అప్పటి అధ్యక్షుడు శ్రీ కె. అన్నామలై నేటి ప్రకటన లో ఆరో తరగతి నుంచి మూడు భాషల విధానాన్ని స్వాగతించినప్పటికీ, ఈ ఏడాది నుంచే తొమ్మిదో తరగతి విద్యార్థులకు మూడో భాషను తప్పనిసరి చేయడాన్ని వ్యతిరేకించారు. ప్రభుత్వం ముందుగా 2029-30 నుంచి అమలు చేస్తామని చెప్పి ఇప్పుడు అకస్మాత్తుగా మార్పు చేయడం విద్యార్థులపై అదనపు భారం మోపుతుందని అన్నారు. ఈ ఇద్దరు నాయకుల విభిన్న ప్రకటనలు విద్యార్థుల్లో, తల్లిదండ్రుల్లో తీవ్ర అయోమయాన్ని సృష్టిస్తున్నాయి.

మూడు భాషల విధానం అంటే ఏమిటి? ప్రధానమంత్రి శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకువచ్చిన జాతీయ విద్యా విధానం–2020 ప్రకారం విద్యార్థులు మూడు భాషలు నేర్చుకోవాలి. అందులో కనీసం రెండు భారతీయ భాషలు ఉండాలి. ఐదో తరగతి వరకు, వీలైతే ఎనిమిదో తరగతి వరకు మాతృభాషలోనే బోధన జరగాలని ఆ విధానం సూచిస్తుంది. యునెస్కో ఎన్నో ఏళ్లుగా పిల్లలు తమ మాతృభాషలో విద్యను ప్రారంభిస్తే పాఠాలు బాగా అర్థమవుతాయని, ఆలోచనా శక్తి పెరుగుతుందని, ఆత్మవిశ్వాసం పెరుగుతుందని చెబుతోంది. తమిళనాడులో తెలుగు పిల్లల పరిస్థితి తమిళనాడులో రెండు భాషల విధానం కొనసాగుతున్నా తెలుగు భాషా ఉపాధ్యాయులను ప్రభుత్వం తగిన సంఖ్యలో నియమించలేదు. తెలుగు మాతృభాష పరీక్ష మార్కులను మొత్తం మార్కుల్లో పరిగణించడం లేదు. దీంతో అనేక తెలుగు కుటుంబాలు తమ పిల్లలను బలవంతంగా తమిళ మాధ్యమంలో చదివించాల్సి వస్తోంది. ఇది తెలుగు భాషకు నష్టం కలిగిస్తోంది. మన పిల్లలు తమ మాతృభాషను కోల్పోయే పరిస్థితి ఏర్పడుతోంది. కర్ణాటక సరిహద్దు అయిన కేరళలోని కాసరగోడ్ ప్రాంతంలో మలయాళం మొదటి భాషగా తప్పనిసరి చేసే బిల్లువలన కన్నడ మాట్లాడే విద్యార్థులు ఇబ్బందులు ఎదుర్కొంటున్నారు. ఇది సరిహద్దు ప్రాంతాల్లో ఉద్రిక్తతలకు దారితీస్తోంది. తమిళనాడు తెలుగు యువశక్తి డిమాండ్లు

1. వెంటనే తమిళనాడు లో తెలుగు భాషా ఉపాధ్యాయులను నియమించాలి
2. మాతృభాష పరీక్ష మార్కులను మొత్తం మార్కుల్లో కలపాలి
3. ప్రతి విద్యార్థికి తన మాతృభాషలో చదివే హక్కును గౌరవించాలి

Dear UNESCO New Delhi,

I am Kethireddy Jagadish Wara Reddy, Founder President of Tamilnadu Telugu Yuva Sakthi. In Tamil Nadu, the government is not appointing Telugu linguistic teachers. Mother tongue exam marks are not counted in the total. Because of this, many Telugu children are being forced to study in Tamil medium and are losing their mother tongue. This is against UNESCO’s own position that children learn best in their mother tongue. I request UNESCO to kindly look into this serious issue and take necessary action to protect Telugu children’s right to learn in their own language. I am ready to provide all supporting details.
