There is growing concern among vehicle owners regarding the long-term impact of E20 petrol on engine components, fuel systems, mileage, maintenance costs, and overall vehicle performance. While various claims have been made regarding compatibility, independent long-term studies covering all vehicle categories are not widely available to the public.

The government should publish transparent, independently verified data on engine durability, maintenance implications, and expected lifecycle impact across different vehicle types operating on ethanol-blended fuel.
