Lack of basic facilities in government hospitals

Why does India still lack proper government school facilities while politicians inaugurate private schools as chief guests?

In many parts of India, government schools still struggle with basic needs — proper classrooms, clean toilets, labs, smart classrooms, sports facilities, enough teachers, and even drinking water. Parents often feel forced to choose expensive private schools because they believe government schools cannot provide quality education.
